  1. It is unlucky to go Northwards on a Monday and Southwards on a Tuesday.
    It is said that the birds start building their nests on the 1st of March every year, and that if the 1st falls on a Sunday, they will not start until the 2nd of the month.
    If a weasel found you asleep at night he would suck your blood and kill you.
    Some people say that if a person found a four-leaved shamrock no one could make a fool of him.
    Long ago there used to live people who could change themselves into a hare, and they used to milk the cows of other people and sell the milk afterwards. It happened one morning that when a farmer went into the field for his cows, what should he see milking one of the cows but a hare. His hound pursued the hare and caught it by the leg. The farmer went afterwards to a house nearby and he saw a woman sitting by the fire crying.
