When the Abbot asked for the papers, the Monks said they would not give them. The Abbot returned to the Monastery and he asked the Monks to follow him. When the Abbot arrived at the Monastery he told the other Monks how the Monks on the river-bank would not give him the papers. When the three Monks came back they were bound and the Abbot took the papers. After a while the Monks were drowned in the river.
