  1. This old ruin is in the Glanworth parish.
    It is about a mile and a half from the school.
    It was built for Brian Boru's brother Mahon.
    The mortar that built the Castle was mixed with blood.
    The Danes lived there after Mahon and it is said that they buried a lot of their treasure there.
    The four walls are still standing and part of a stairs and part of a cement floor.
    It is on Mr Dan Noonan's land and is beside a boreen.
    Dunmahon graveyard is about two hundred yards from the Castle.
    There is an old church in this graveyard.
    It is divided into two parts, the new part and the old part. Any person around the district
