  2. Daneil O'Connell was in Dublin and as he was coming out of a train the top of his right ear was cut off.
    When he came to Cork he asked a shopkeeper how much tobacco it would(?) him to get as would go up to the top of his right ear.
    The shopkeeper named a price and O'Connell paid. He made the shopkeeper give him as much tobacco as would go from Cork to Dublin because the top of his right ear was in Dublin.
