    There was a man one time who was travelling the country looking for work. One evening as night fell dark he saw a light in the fields so he want towards it and as he did it was a farmer's house so he asked for a nights lodgings. The farmer told him he would have to sleep in a house where everyone that slept their was dead in the morning. The labouring man said he would so they both went to the house together. The travelling man was shown his room and out before a good fire and a bottle of whiskey and was told he would get one pound in the morning if he stayed in
