  1. In this district there are many roads. Some of these are main roads. The Lighthouse road is the oldest road in the district. It leads from Lakevale to Castleisland. There is also a very old road leading from Rathmore to Castleisland.
    Lighthouse road was made as relief work during the famine time. It is made about one hundred and fifty years ago. Carraganes road was made about seven years ago. These main roads lead to cities and towns.
    There are very old Mass paths leading from the main road to Ballydesmond. There is one
