    or if they do not they are said to carry as much butter as would be as big as their head. The old say-ing is when the visitor would come in the people of the house would say "put the big of your head in it." When the butter is made the butter milk is taken out. Water is poured in and the butter is washed. When the butter is washed well it is taken out in a clean oak tub and salted then it is made up in pound and sold at the market.
