    (1) can be cured by putting a horse-hair around them.
    (2) can also be cured by rubbing with the fasting spit for nine mornings.
    (3) To rub with bainicín
    (a plant found wild on the banks rivers - commonly known as spurge.
    Toothache
    (1) is cured by putting a bit of pork in the hole in the tooth.
    (2) To burn a piece of limestone and put it into the hold of the tooth.
    (3) To put a piece of blue-stone into the holed of the tooth.
    (4) To put a frog's leg under the tooth and grind it.
    (5) To put ginger and salt mixed into the tooth.
    Thrush:
    A half-pint of whisky and ginger and vinegar, brown sugar & saffron all mixed together and bottled - mouth
