    For Frog in the Middle the children form a circle or ring. One child goes into the middle, closes his eyes and catches some child who goes around in the ring. The child caught becomes the '' frog'' and goes into middle and does as the previous '' frog ''.
    On November's Night as well as by nut cracking children amuse themselves by '' Snap Apple''.
    ( This night is also known as SnapApple Night).
    Then children put in one apple or a few apples into a pail or tub of water which they put in the middle of the floor. The children kneel down and put their heads into the water trying to catch the apple in their mouth. They are not allowed to
    put any hand near the water or apples must catch it with their mouth.
    The games which boys play football, hurling, hand-ball and fishing.
