    There is an old traditional story around Blarney. About sixty years ago there was a "Hedge School Master" in Blarney named Tim Cronin. Tim had a grandfather.
    One night a fairy visited the grandfather and said. If he would go to a place near the Castle called "Carraig na gCat" he would get as much gold as he wanted. She said he should carry with him one hundred Fathoms of line, two candles and a bag for the gold and when he would come to a cave he would see a tree. To tie the line around his waist and on to the tree.
    Then he should light the two candles advancing keeping to his right-hand side until he would come to a room with two cats in it, and the next room to that is the gold room.
    The last advice she gave him was not to touch anything but the gold.
    The next day the man went to the place. He brought with him all
