  1. There is an old disused graveyard in Kilbonnane in the Parish of Dunmanway.
Local farmers took the head-stones and stones off the ditches to build houses. These people who took the stones heard noises in their houses. This was told to Canon O' Leary P.P. Dunmanway. He ordered the stones to be brought back and he hired men to build the wall and the noises ceased.
