  1. There are only two holy wells in this district. One is in the townland of Caheragh in Mr. O'Mahony's land and the other is in Moulagoulane in Mr. Donegan's land. The well in Mr. O'Mahony's is supposed to be a cure for warts. (R)
    Relics were left at the wells such as beads and bottles. People used to make rounds at these wells long ago, but they are not visited now.
    The well in Caheragh is situated near a hill called "Cnoc Mór" and it is round in shape.
