  1. There are five smiths in the parish The following are the names of the smiths:- Mr Driscoll, Mr. Hayes, Mr. Driscoll, Mr. Perrit, Mr. Driscoll. All the forges have slate as roofs. There is only one fire in the forges. Horses and asses are shod by the smiths. The shoeing is done in the open air. It is done in front of the door.
