    the place of the upright churn. There are two kinds of barrel churns, the fixed churn, and the revolving churn. The fixed churn rests on stand. In the fixed churn there are beaters which are revolved outside by a handle. In the revolving churn there are boards attached to the inside of it, and when the barrel is revolving the cream strikes against these boards, and in that way butter is made. The revolving churn is
