    buttons of some clothing he went to the Civic Guards who told the boy's father. It was then said that the bones were those of the Donovan boy and the buttons were those of his clothing. His father then placed them in a coffin and buried them.
    It has been said that a Protestant man found the body before it had decayed and although he knew the story and had even searched for the boy he had left the body where he had found it. Four or five years after the bones being found that man was found dead in the very same spot as the bones of the boy.
