    And the pretties girl that 'ere I saw
    And she follow the dark I Gipsy Ó.
    I rode to the east and too the west
    And also to shrybarny Ó.
    And the first I met was my own widowed wife
    And she follow the dark eye Gipsy Ó.

    Wont you come home with me my dear he said
    Wont you come with me my honey Ó.
    And I will swair my the letters that's on my sword
    No Gipsy shall come near you Ó.
    Madam I have houses and land
    Madam I have children Ó.
    What do I care for your houses or land
