  1. Sore Throat:- Put a woollen stocking full of hot salt round the sore neck when in bed. It is to be kept there during the night. Some times bran was used instead of salt. The salt or bran was heated in a pan or oven
    Warts:- Dip the hand on which the wart is in the hollow of a rock full of water. This water is supposed to have the power of taking away the wart.
    Warts:- Rub a black snail on the wart. Hang the snail on a black (snail) thorn bush for nine days and then go back again and rub him on the wart. The wart is gone when the snail is withered away.
    Ringworm:- The sevent son of daughter of a family is supposed to have the power to cure a disease in the skill called ringworm. This son or daughter leaves his or her hand on the place where the ringworm is three times and this cures the disease. The days
