  1. There was a strong man living in Derremihan long ago.
    Some people say that he was a giant, but most people say that he was an ordinary man. One day he wanted to show the people how strong he was. He was on the top of Mallin and he caught a big stone and he took[?] it to Bere Island but half of it fell off and landed in [?] and the field that it fell on is still called "Páirc a' Ghaláin" and it is to be seen there still.
