  1. When the English fleet was in here long ago. A woman went down to the canteen in Furious Pier with a hare. This woman did not know any English.
    When she went into the canteen an English woman was in-side and the Irish woman said.
    A madame anáirde will you buy girrfhiadh.
    The English woman said I think it is a hare.
    The Irish woman said, Am briatar nach é.
    The English woman said. Will you take eight pence.
    The Irish woman said ni dhíolfad gan réill é.
