    People used to eat their breakfasts before daylight. a A pot of porridge they had for breakfast. Potatoes and butter they had for dinner. People used to have no tea in the evening. They used to have porridge for supper. They used eat eggs on Easter Sunday - a feast after the Black Fast of Lent.
    People used eat meals three times a day - porridge and buttermilk twice a day and a sziob of potatoes with buttermilk the third time.
