    County Council Election:-
"In the town of Clonakilty they found a chap named Hill
Whose name was very seldom seen except to foot a bill,
He drives out in his motor-car so very nice and clane
But to beat the gallant Wycherely he'd need an aeroplane."
George Wycherely composed to following verse:-
"And who down the hill-side than the wild wild deer runs fleeter,
Who, Who by the lake side is hastening to greet her,
Who, but Wycherely from Rosscarbery so spruce and gay,
And he'll soon take the hand of the flower of Knockea."
