    All over Ireland crosses, fields, townlands, rocks, etc. are called after certain things things that happened there.
    There is a cross in the townland of Slaveen called the "Sruthán" It is so called because there is a little stream running under the road. There is a field in our land called the "lachamór" because it is all hights and
