  1. Birdlime. A stick about a foot long is plastered with birdlime, and put on a bush near the trap cage. This cage had a song bird in it. This bird entices another bird near. He perches on the twig, etc.
    Bird basket. The kind basket is shaped like a triangle (triangular pyramid). It is placed standing on one side with a gabhlóg under it. A piece of cord with some bread on it is attached to the gabhlóg. The bird perches on the gabhlóg in the basket. His weight brings down the basket and the bird is a prisoner.
