    head with a stick. This is a very cruel manner of killing birds.
    Snares, traps and ferrets are used in catching rabbits. When a rabbit is known to be in a burrow nets are put up to the mouths of it and then a ferret is put in to hunt out the rabbit. This is a very easy way of catching them.
    Snares are mostly always put in rabbits' tracks and when the rabbit is out in the night time he cannot see where he is going and into the snare he is sure to go, and is firmly caught by the neck until he dies.
