    1. There are many Forts in this district. There is a fort in Dan O Mahonys land in Cúl Na GCorán named Páirc an leasa and it is said that John Hurley went looking for gold there.
    2. There is also a fort in Mr Newmans land in Doire Guail. Some people think that there was gold hidden there also.
    3. There is another fort in Mr Swanton's land
