    It is said that long ago when the Abbey was first built it was being built on the other side of the river. Every morning when the masons came they found that the building was transferred to the other side where it is now. At last they discovered that it was to be built where it is now and they built it there.
    The right name of the Abbey is Mainistir na Sruthrach, but on account of this story it is sometimes called Mainistir an Fhormaid. The field where they
