  1. Customs at Wakesand Funerals
    Many customs are practised during the night of a wake. The men usually stay in the kitchen and the women sit around the corpse. After the person dies the clock is immediately stopped to show the hour the person dies. It is better to have the corpse removed to the Church on that night, to give the household time to sleep and to get prepared for the funeral.
    The Rosary is usually said it at twelve o'clock in the house and in the Church when the corpse is brought in. The coffin is usually
