    Many customs are practised on May morning. The young children go around to the nearest wood and bring home branches of every kind of tree. These are put hanging on the doors and windows. These things are done to welcome the Summer.
    Another custom that was practised is, children gather a bunch of nettles and then follow some other youngsters and nettle them in the feet and hands.
