    Fenians were a party of men who were trying to free Ireland by the force of arms.
    Many of the heads of the Fenians were sent into exile and more of them were caught and put into prison.
    O'Donovan Rosa was the chief leader of the Fenians in Skibbereen.
    He was living where Mr Wolfe has his garage now.
    The Fenians were very strong around this district.
