Nony Minihane - who was going home from the "Northland" about 10 p.m. She brought him home, but he never again left the bed, and he died about six months after.
This story was given to me by:

    Daniel Murphy, (77 years)
    Hare Island Middle,
    Church Cross,

    Co. Cork
    N.B.
The Strand mentioned herein is situated on Southern Side of the Island, and is known as the "Tráigh Mhór".
The people here believe that Fr. OSullivan banished the spirit, as it has not been seen since. Fr. OSullivan was P.P. at Aughadown - in Diocese of Ross. He died about 10 years ago and is buried in Churchyard Kilcoe. He was close on 90 years when he died.
