    This is the way in which the stations are performed-
    The pilgrim first goes to the stone slab in front of the hawthorn bush, kneels down, says fifteen Our Father, Hail Marys & Glorias
    Standing up he or she bends down,
    Kisses the stone & picks up seven pebbles from the base of the slab and journey round the wells until the stone is reached again. While going round Seven Our Fathers Seven Hail Marys & Seven Glorias are said. On returning to stone he or she kneels down and says Seven Gloria's Seven Hail Marys & Seven Our Fathers as before.
    One of the pebbles is there dropped. This is continued for seven times. Same prayers being repeated on each occasion & a pebble
