  1. A strange story but true is recounted about the Evictions in this country.
    Near Donamon Castle lived a poor widow with a large family. Being unable to pay her rent she was notified that the Sheriff would evict her on a certain date.
    The agent of the Landlord was hard hearted man and had no pity in him for the poor & suffering.
    The day of the eviction arrived. The poor creature lighted a fire and placed a pot of porridge over it to cook for the children. Before it was done the Sheriff arrived with his guard. She begged the agent
