  1. Mr. Thomas Owens now dead of New Rooskey told me the following story.
He said one time James Lannon was going down Mr. Flynn's field. There is a little bush in the middle of the field. As he was passing the bush a little man out from under it and gave him a box of ointment and told him that his ass has a sore back, he said that Jame Lannon went home and sent his brother to put ointment on the ass.
The boy went down to put the ointment on the ass. The boy came back alright and after three days he died.
