    John Clabby Cloonawfill, Ruskey told me the signs of the weather.
    He said the animals are sure signs of the weather. When the dog eats grass the weather will be bad and when the cat has her back to the fire the weather will be bad.
    The cattle in the field are also a sign of the weather. when they are all gathered together there is going to be a thunder storm.
    When the cricket is singing in the hearth-stone there will be bad weather. The birds are signs of the weather too. When the robin is singing under a bush the weather will be bad and when he is singing on top of a tree the weather will be good.
    When the swallow is flying low there will be rainy weather, and when you meet a magpie on the road the weather will be bad. And when you meet two
