    Cloonawfill
    The townland I live in is called Cloonawfill, which means the hazel meadow. It is so called because in olden times three parts of this townland was covered in hazel trees, but today very few of them are left. There are seven families in the townland and twenty eight people. The houses are neat and well kept and four of them are after being repaired under the new reconstruction act. There are two people over seventy years of age.
