  1. A next door neighbour of ours whose name is John Loughrin has often told us about a ghost which he saw thirty or forty years ago.
    He was going to Kilglass Post Office about nine o'clock one night, on his way he passed Finn's forge which is now a barn belonging to Warde's. As he was passing it a man dressed in black came out and walked with him as far as Coyle's house. Just outside this house his hat was taken off his head. He lit a match that very moment but the man or hat was nowhere to be seen, he searched for the hat and found it in a field next the road.
