    A Story.
In my great grand father's time people used to see fairies. One night he was coming from the town of Ballaghaderreen very late and the moon was shining brightly. He met a crowd of young people. There were fairies but he did not know it. He asked them in Irish was it a marriage. There were girls and boys in the crowd, and one of the girls stepped out of the crowd and gave him a great slap on the face.
Then they all disappeared in a minute. He died in a week afterwards from the shock.
