    Wards and Carrs.
    The Wards are the best known and the oldest of in our parish. If they live in the village they are not welcomed but if they stay out of the village they are welcomed.

  2. There are two forts in my townland, one in Moffats field and one in Duffys field. They are circular in shape.
    It is said the Danes built them and an erthen fence is found round each one of them. There was a cave in the middle of one of them but it is filled
