  1. People made bread from oatenmeal and flour mixed with Indian meal.
    Potato bread boxty bread and bread baked between two leaves of cabbage called pancógs were also made.
    Boiled potatoes flour and salt were put in potato bread. Scraped raw potatoes flour salt and broken boiled potatoes were put in boxty bread.
    Oaten meal a pinch of sugar and boiling water were put in oaten meal bread. It was baked in front of the fire left against a small flag. Pancógs were made from oaten-meal mixed with buttermilk and baked between two leaves of cabbage
