    Their names shall be recorded
    In our memory for life
And will stand a lasting record
    For the country all around
To help the old and feeble
    Round Ballyfarnon town
    The workmanship
    We can't let slip
    For durability
    For as a labourer's cottage
    Its equal cannot be
    The interior of this cottage
    Is beautiful and grand
    With strong walls of roofing
    Which for centuries will stand
    Also, its splendid parlour
    It's bedrooms two as well
It windows and and its painting
    There's nothing to excel
    And to noble Tom Sheerin
I'm sure great praise is due
For from the first into the last
    His building carried through
Transcribed by a member of our volunteer transcription project.
