Ar an leathanach seo
- A plough is only used in a field that was never tilled before. It is drawn by two horses. There are two handles on it, and the man who is driving also steers it.
The point of the plough sticks into the ground and turns it over. The earth that is turned over is called a sod.
The ground is ploughed to break it up and make it ready for tilling for seeds.
Ploughing is very hard on horses, especially when the ground is wet and heavy.- Bailitheoir
