    rath on his farm. He thought that the rath was taking up too much land and he decided to dig it up and sow potatoes there. The potatoes were a great crop. He dug the potatoes and brought them home. When he had all the potatoes home he had none at home and there were none on the rath.
    The man did not know what to do. He was advised to plant trees on the rath again. He had nine children. He sowed the trees on the rath and five of them died and five of his children died. It is since called the haunted rath.
