In Oldtown there is a Mass Path going through a lane namely "The Deep Lane." In it are some of the stones which were used at the time. Also there is another Path going through Churchfield. The Fitzpatricks thought to hinder the people from going there but it would not be allowed. There is to be seen the old sticks where the people used walk. All the clay is decayed away and are left now only the old sticks. I was on the "Deep Lane" lately and all the stones are taken away.
