  2. Many years ago a cross old man dwelt in a cottage not far from a great forest in Ireland. He earned his living by cutting trees which he sold in the village a few miles off. He had everything he wanted but he had to work. There was no reason why he wasn't happy. Many of his neighbours who followed the same trade were always happy. When they would ask what was the matter wit him he would say, "Matter indeed too much work and too little money in my pocket that's the matter with me and I don't see what you are so cheerful about either." The man did not go for his dinner
