    The steeples or, supposed town, under Lake Annagh, which people were supposed to have seen from time to time is, just a "tale".

    N.B;
    The steeples or,supposed town,under lake annagh,which people were supposed to have seen from time to time is just a "tale" The fact is long ago the soldiers of Essed's Army camped near the lake and drove planks or stakes down through the water in order to build a fort.At night they sullied forth to plunder. Those stakes gave rise to the existing "tale" that a town was buried there.
