    In the parish of Rosenallis there is one forge, It is situated in Derrylamogue and is owned by Owen Gorman. The forge stands in a lane,near a stream. This man's ancestors were smiths for years, The roof of this forge is a galvanised one. There is a local belief about forge water, people say it cures warts, This smith does not make farm implements,but he repairs them. There is only one fire place in this forge,
