    When you hear the bumble bee it is the sign of wet weather.
    When you see the midges in a circle there is going to be rain.
    When smoke is going up straight there is going to be fine weather, and when it is coming down it is going to be wet.
    When the soot is falling it is going to rain.
    When there are midges on a pond or on a lock of water it is the sign of bad weather.
    When there are black snails out on the grass it is the sign of rain.
