    In Drumkeath, Co. Louth, there is a stream called "Hoey's Stream." This stream divides the counties of Louth and Monaghan.
    "The Bush Field" in Channonrock, Co. Louth, got its name because there is a big bush in the middle of the field.
    "Pat's Field" in Channonrock, Co. Louth, got its name because an old man used to work in it called "Pat."
    "The Middle Field" in Channonrock, Co. Louth, got its name because it is between two other field.
