- (continued from previous page)two years ago there lived a man named James Mc Gahon of Mullinahinsa, Inniskeen, Co. Monaghan. He was the man who first made a plough in this district. It was a wooden one, and the man who worked it was his brother, John Mc Gahon. It was a good plough, and lasted many years.
- About twenty - four years ago there lived a man named James Callan, Ednamo, Inniskeen, Co. Monaghan. He used to make candles. He made twelve candles a day. They were much in use at that time in this district.
- There was once a man called James Mc Gahon, Lannet, Inniskeen, Co. Monaghan. Long ago he made baskets out of "Sally" rods. He used to live in a little house on Toal's hill Lannet, Inniskeen,(continues on next page)
