- 1. WindsWhen the north wind blows in this district it means plenty of hail, rain and snow. This wind is hardly ever experienced except, around, December to March. The East wind also brings the same kind of weather. The south westerly wind is the one that blows mostly in this place, Clinstown. It brings plenty of soft rain. This is an old saying about the winds in this district:"The North wind brings snow,
The South wind brings rain,
The West wind brings a storm,
And the East wind brings sickness.RainMany are the signs which can be seen before it rain. Rainbows are the signs of heavy showers, and sometimes plenty of rain. This is a nice poem(continues on next page) - Collector
